It has been one of the longest weeks of my life. To explain, I'd like to take the time to briefly introduce the newest addition to our family:



We call him "Churps" for the time being, because his little kitty meows sound like chirps. We took him in on June 25, and as far as the vet can tell he's about 5 weeks old.



Kittens can be so cute... and yet so terribly exhausting.

This year Paul and I were a part of RoundDog Film's production of "Stuck", an entry for the 48 Hour Film Festival. Paul created all original music for the soundtrack (except the stock track on the opening reel), I was a zombie hooker. Here are some pictures:

"STUCK" will be airing at the "48 Hour Film Festival" showings at the Asheville Pizza Brewery under "Group A". Showings are at 4:00pm on Tuesday, 7:00pm on Wednesday and at 9:00pm on Thurdsday (June 22, 23 and 24 respectively). "STUCK" will also be available eventually on YouTube.

finally mustered up the courage to change out sisa's eyes.
aren't they lovely?

i'm finding it a challenge to photograph her in daylight, so I tried something new! after much fooling around with the camera while watching tv in a dark room, I have some semi-decent pictures of the new eyes.



the colors are really awful, and they definitely change with whatever dominant hues were on the tube, so pardon the inconsistency between these two photos.



i wish sisa could hold this pose on her own, but i definitely had to manually hold her arms just to take this shot. :-P

its been a while since the last remi post.
she got a new dress recently.



how has everyone's 2009 been so far?
this year has started off rough in more ways than one. already i can tell that things can only get worse before they get better. better to take everything in stride, ride these last waves of uncertainty until the next big tsunami hits.

lol. at least i still have a job. ha-HA!
